LOK’s Secure-Safe Privacy-Plus (SSPP) patent-pending technology ensures that your health information is secure, using multiple security socket layers to house and separate your personal and medical data in different places.
The SSPP system goes beyond standard security measures and requires you to enter four pieces of information before you can access your information:

Only when you use your password and encrypted ID will your health information—from your various health providers, hospital, lab or pharmacy—be connected and gathered in one place. Only when you decide to compile your LifeOnKey file does the data merge into your own personal computer’s browser. With the LOK technology the data never stay on your computer cache.
The LOK technology complies with HIPAA, the federal standard for the protection of personal health records to ensure the privacy of electronic transmission of health information.
